A person started to walk on a rope tied between two tall towers at several hundred feet above the ground. He is slowly walking balancing a long stick in his hands. He has his son sitting on his shoulders.

Everyone down were watching him in bated breath and were tensed. He slowly reached the second tower. Everyone clapped, whistled and welcomed him. They shook hands and took selfies.

He asked the crowd "do you all think I can walk back on the same rope now from this side to that side?". Crowd shouted "Yes, Yes, you can".

*Do you trust me he asked* They said yes, yes we are ready to bet on you.

He said okay, can any one of you sit on my shoulder; I will take you to the other side safely.

Everyone became quite. There was stunned silence.

*Belief is different. Trust is different. For Trust you need total surrender*

This is what we are lacking towards God in today's world.

We believe in God. But we don't trust Him.

This too shall pass, trust God & stay blessed forever.

I heard that we are in the same boat.

But it's not like that.

We are in the same storm, but not in the same boat.

Your ship can be shipwrecked and mine might not be.

Or vice versa.
For some, quarantine is optimal: moment of reflection, of re-connection. Easy, in flip flops, with a whiskey or tea.

For others, this is a desperate crisis.

For others it is facing loneliness.

For some, a peace, rest time, vacation.

Yet for others, Torture: How am I going to pay my bills?

Some were concerned about a brand of chocolate for Easter (this year there were no rich chocolates).

Others were concerned about the bread for the weekend, or if the noodles would last for a few more days.

Some were in their "home office" .

Others are looking through trash to survive.

Some want to go back to work because they are running out of money.

Others want to kill those who break the quarantine.

Some need to break the quarantine to stand in line at the banks.

Others to escape.

Others criticize the government for the lines.

Some have experienced the near death of the virus, some have already lost someone from it, some are not sure their loved ones are going to make it, and some don't even believe this is a big deal.

Some of us who are well now may end up experiencing it, and some believe they are infallible and will be blown away if or when this hits someone they know

Some have faith in God and expect miracles during this 2020.

Others say the worse is yet to come.

So, friends, we are not in the same boat.
We are going through a time when our perceptions and needs are completely different.

And each one will emerge, in his own way, from that storm.

Some with a tan from their pool. Others with scars on the soul (for invisible reasons).

It is very important to see beyond what is seen at first glance. Not just looking, more than looking, seeing.

See beyond the political party, beyond religion, beyond the nose on your face.

Do not underestimate the pain of others if you do not feel it.

Do not judge the good life of the other, do not condemn the bad life of the other.
Don't be a judge.
Let us not judge the one who lacks, as well as the one who exceeds him.

We are on different ships looking to survive.

Let everyone navigate their route with respect, empathy and responsibility.

I do not consider this as ISOLATION/Lockdown having to stay at home with whom we love.

*Isolation is what the seriously ill are experiencing in hospital.*

Stop saying that you are bored, upset that you can't leave the house; *while everyone in the hospital wants to go home.*

So, thank God if you have to stay at home, because despite everything, with money or without money, with a job or without a job, *you are in the best place you could be, at home, surrounded by who loves you!*

Perhaps it is time to transform your house into a wonderful place to stay, *a place of peace and not of war, of embrace and not of distance.*

Anyway, look with different eyes at the situation you are experiencing !!

*Make your house a party:* Listen to music, sing, dance......

*Make your house a temple:* Pray, pray, meditate, ask, thank, praise, plead ...

*Make your home a school:* Read, write, draw, paint, study, learn, teach ...

*Make your house a store:* Clean, order, organize, decorate, label, move, sell, donate ...

*Make your house a restaurant:* cook, eat, try, create recipes, grow spices, plant a garden ...

Anyway ...
*make your house, your family, a place of love.*"

Make the best possible use of this *once-in-a-lifetime* opportunity....

*You don't need a new day to start over You only need a NEW MINDSET*

There was a famous Guru who was known for his cure for various ailments especially arthritis.
There was once a long line of people waiting at his Ashram when an old lady, completely bent over, leaning on her cane walked in.
She had to be helped inside the Guru's chambers.
Amazingly, she emerged after some time walking completely erect with her head held high.
A woman waiting at the door of the Guru's Chamber said, "It's a miracle! You walked in bent in half & now in no time, you are walking erect. What did the Guruji do?"
The old lady replied, "He gave me a longer Cane."
Most of our problems arise out of habits and bad support. Change your mindset, change the support & the problem is cured.
Get a longer Cane & stay blessed forever.
