Kindness & Compassion

A farmer had a neighbor who was a hunter, and who owned ferocious and poorly trained hunting dogs.
They jumped the fence frequently and chased the farmer's lambs. The farmer asked his neighbor to keep his dogs in check, but this fell on deaf ears.

One day the dogs again jumped the fence and attacked and severely injured several of the lambs. The farmer had had enough, and went to town to consult a judge who listened carefully to the story and said: "I could punish the hunter and instruct him to keep his dogs chained or lock them up. But you would lose a friend and gain an enemy. Which would you rather have, friend or foe for a neighbor?"

The farmer replied that he preferred a friend. "Alright, I will offer you a solution that keeps your lambs safe, and which will keep your a neighbor a friend." Having heard the judge's solution, the farmer agreed.

Once at home, the farmer immediately put the judge's suggestions to the test. He took three of his best lambs and presented them to his neighbor's three small sons, who were beside themselves with joy and began to play with them.

To protect his son's newly acquired playthings, the hunter built a strong kennel for his dogs. Since then, the dogs never again bothered the farmer's lambs. Out of gratitude for the farmer's generosity toward his sons, the hunter often shared the game he had hunted with the farmer.

The farmer reciprocated by sending the hunter lamb meat and cheese he had made. Within a short time the neighbors became good friends.
"One can win over and influence people the best with gestures of kindness and compassion."

"Do not judge anybody by the way they speak, judge them by the way they care because care is the outcome of true love in any relationship"

No matter how everyone treats you, you show kindness & compassion.

Win over people & stay Blessed forever.

Science / semen

Science says that the amount of semen that is released once an adult healthy male has intercourse contains 400 million sperm.
So, according to logic, if that amount of sperm found a place in the womb of a girl, then 400 million babies would be created!
This 400 million sperm, running like crazy towards the mother's uterus, only 300-500 sperm survive.

And the rest? He dies of exhaustion or defeat on the way. These are 300-500 sperm, which have been able to reach the ovum. Only one of them, a very strong sperm, fertilizes the ovum, or takes a seat in the ovum. That lucky sperm is you or me, or all of us.

*Have you ever thought of this great war?*

1. When you ran "there were no eyes, hands, feet, head, yet you won.

2. When you ran, you didn't have a certificate, you didn't have a brain, but you won.

3. You had no education when you ran, no one helped but you won.

4. You had a destination when you ran and you ran with a single mind, aiming at that destination and you won in the end.

- After that, many babies are lost in the mother's womb.
But you are not dead, you have completed 10 full months.
- Many babies die at birth but you survived.
- Many babies die in the first 5 years of life. You are still alive.
- Many children die of malnutrition. Nothing happened to you.
- Many have left the world on the way to growing up, you are still alive .

And today ......

You panic when something happens, you get frustrated, but why?

Why do you think you lost?
Why have you lost confidence?
Now you have friends, siblings, certificates, everything. There are hands and feet, there is education, there is the brain to plan, there are people to help, yet you have lost hope. When you did not give up on the first day of life. Fighting to the death with 400 million sperm, he has won the competition alone without any help by running continuously.

Why do you break down when something happens ??

Why do you say I do not want to live?

Why did U say I lost?

It is possible to highlight thousands of such things, but why are you frustrated?

Why would you lose? Why rate?

*You win in the beginning, you win in the end, you win in the middle.*

Give yourself time, ask yourself what talent you have.

#Talking of #Purpose

*Talking of Purpose*

As humans we have many purposes. We all lead different lives and have had many different scenarios played out that only we can know about.

We have had our up's and down's. We have made the most of some situation's whilst letting others pass us by. We have learned many different lessons and will continue to do so.

Our ability to operate is amazing and by looking in from the outside is inspiration alone. We are the creation happening and we are always making progress.

A lesson learned is progress. *Sometimes it takes a mistake to enable a lesson learned.*

Celebrate a mistake with newfound optimism over a new lesson learned.

If you ever drift, think of a caterpillar on its way up the tree to become something different from what it had been. Ask yourself this; *when does evolution take place?*

Now is the time when progress takes grace. In this moment, we are all we can be; we have learned many lessons like our friend, the butterfly, leaving the tree.

An #extra #marital #affair

"She had an extra - marital affair. Interestingly her husband knows about it."

She was looking different for last few days, she was looking happy, confident, suddenly was looking beautiful, taking care of herself also not only a dedicated wife for husband and woman for home, she was singing, she was dancing, her dressing sense has commendably improved...

It was strange! In previous years he had never seen this form of her.. He was sure someone else has entered in her life and she is transforming herself for him a woman always lives for the joy and happiness of a man!

He was feeling like spending some more time with her to explore the reason behind it..

Saturday Eve a perfect time to spend together he proposed a dine out and she accepted the proposal..

He asked her about the venue and for the first time she expressed her opinion!
Again a surprise.. earlier it was always his decision!

They went to a beautiful restaurant with a very nice romantic ambience, she was looking amazing and he was just looking at her as if he is meeting her for the first time..

Now sitting on the table, again which was reserved by her he was just trying to explore the reason of this transformation, he after holding her hand asked very politely, Dear you look amazing, and changed for last few days. What is the secret?

She looked into his eyes and smiled, and said, I am also surprised! You are sitting with me at a place of my choice, holding my hand, looking into my eyes, not looking into Mobile, or staring at girls moving around! Isn't it strange?

Then she picked up her phone and clicked a selfie and forwarded it to someone and her phone started ringing...

Now he was uncomfortable..

She smiled and announced "I am in Love!!!"

He was shocked! For a few minutes he felt like slapping her... But for the first time he had also started loving her and didn't want to loose her!

Composing himself he asked "Who is he?"

She smiled it's not he it's she!

Infact It's not she it's me!

I love myself, I love spending time with people I like, visit places I love, I am alive! And you know what I realised you also love me more when I love myself...

He had tears in his eyes of course with a sigh of relief..

Said sorry and promised will not keep unreasonable expectations from her and respect her always..

Now he knows the lady who is with him is alive, confident and deserves love and respect and if not given by him can find anywhereπŸ™‚

So ladies life is beautiful, spend some time with yourself, love yourself, respect yourself, value yourself...

Ultimately when you love and respect yourself, you will be loved by others and trust me "You deserve it!"

#Ways to cultivate #gratitude

*Ways to cultivate gratitude*

November kicks off the holiday season with high expectations for a cozy and festive time of year. However, for many this time of year is tinged with sadness, anxiety, or depression. Certainly, major depression or a severe anxiety disorder benefits most from professional help. But what about those who just feel lost or overwhelmed or down at this time of year?

*Gratitude* is a way for people to appreciate what they have instead of always reaching for something new in the hopes it will make them happier, or thinking they can't feel satisfied until every physical and material need is met. Gratitude helps people refocus on what they have instead of what they lack. And, although it may feel contrived at first, this mental state grows stronger with use and practice.

Here are some ways to cultivate gratitude on a regular basis which will give happiness to yourself.

*Write a thank-you note.* You can make yourself happier and nurture your relationship with another person by writing a thank-you letter expressing your enjoyment and appreciation of that person's impact on your life. Send it, or better yet, deliver and read it in person if possible. Make a habit of sending at least one gratitude letter a month. Once in a while, write one to yourself.

*Thank someone mentally*. No time to write? It may help just to think about someone who has done something nice for you, and mentally thank the individual.

*Keep a gratitude journal*. Make it a habit to write down or share with a loved one thoughts about the gifts you've received each day.

*Count your blessings.* Pick a time every week to sit down and write about your blessings — reflecting on what went right or what you are grateful for. Sometimes it helps to pick a number — such as three to five things — that you will identify each week. As you write, be specific and think about the sensations you felt when something good happened to you.

*Pray.* People who are religious can use prayer to cultivate gratitude.

*Meditate.* Mindfulness meditation involves focusing on the present moment without judgment. Although people often focus on a word or phrase (such as "peace"), it is also possible to focus on what you're grateful for (the warmth of the sun, a pleasant sound, etc.).

#Creativity comes when there is #happiness

*Creativity comes when there is happiness*

Expression: Happiness touches the heart and enables the creativity to come from within. The one who is happy doesn't wait for the right opportunity to be creative, but uses each moment as a chance for using creativity - for bringing newness.

Experience: When I am happy I am able to enjoy and make the best use of each and every moment of my life. I will want to do something new, unique and different. So I also have the satisfaction of having done my best.

The #Relativity of Your #Life

*The Relativity of Your Life*

We live in the world of the relative. What and whom we surround ourselves with, how we spend our waking hours, and the type of person we become is in direct relation to all that surrounds us.

Many of our choices are conscious. They are the simple choices such as; "I prefer a black car to a green car, so I am buying the black car."

Many of our choices are unconscious. They represent those areas of our lives where we feel disenchanted, disappointed, empty, frustrated, and unfulfilled. Our heads may tell us one thing, such as: "I have to stay in this job to pay my bills" when in reality, we dread facing our workday each morning.

Other areas of unconscious choices lie in the area of unfulfilled relationships. The kind of people we share our time with. The type of romantic relationships we have.

There is only one way to tell if it is your conscious mind, or unconscious beliefs, that created these choices for you:

Ask yourself how deeply fulfilled you feel with those people.

Do you feel supported, nurtured, respected, valued, honored, cared for and loved? Or do you feel drained, taken for granted, hurt, depleted, disrespected and used?

Your greatest truth lies in your heart. You KNOW the answer. That answer creates the dawn of your opportunity to replace an unfulfilled life with a fulfilled one. It creates a tremendous growth opportunity. The growth opportunity of your life!

*Who you are, who surrounds you, what you have, what you would prefer to have, and most importantly what you deserve, are all chosen by YOU.*

It takes tremendous courage to face your deepest truth. For most people, including ownself, it takes a paradigm shift.

Our paradigm is your general view of something.

If you think certain people who comprise a certain portion of the population are not good, your paradigm will shift when you meet someone of that exact group of people who shows you that they are not ALL that way.

*THAT is a paradigm shift.*

Failure doesn't mean you are a failure...
it does mean you haven't succeeded yet

Failure doesn't mean you have accomplished nothing...
it does mean you have learned something

Failure doesn't mean you have been a fool...
it does mean you had a lot of faith

Failure doesn't mean you have been disgraced...
it does mean you were willing to try

Failure doesn't mean you don't have it...
it does mean you have to do something in a different way

Failure doesn't mean you are inferior...
it does mean you are not perfect

Failure doesn't mean you've wasted your life...
it does mean you've got a reason to start afresh

Failure doesn't mean you should give up...
it does mean you should try harder

Failure doesn't mean you'll never make it...
it does mean it will take a little longer

The Law of Wasted Effort

*The Law of Wasted Effort*

Do you know that lions only succeed in a quarter of their hunting attempts — which means they fail in 75% of their attempts and succeeds in only 25% of them.

Despite this small percentage shared by most predators, they don't despair in their pursuit and hunting attempts.

The main reason for this is not because of hunger as some might think but it is the understanding of the "Law of Wasted Efforts" that have been instinctively built into animals, a law in which nature is governed.

Half of the eggs of fishes are eaten... half of the baby bears die before puberty... most of the world's rains fall in oceans... and most of the seeds of trees are eaten by birds.

Scientists have found that animals, trees, and other forces of nature are more receptive to the law of "wasted efforts".

Only humans think that the lack of success in a few attempts is failure... but the truth is that: we only fail when we "stop trying".

Success is not to have a life free of pitfalls and falls... but success is to walk over your mistakes and go beyond every stage where your efforts were wasted looking forward to the next stage.

If there is a word that summarizes this world, it will simply be: *continue all over again.*

Be InspiredπŸ™

WHATEVER YOU ARE GOING THROUGH #RIGHT NOW IS #PREPARING YOU FOR WHAT IS GOING TO COME YOUR WAY

*WHATEVER YOU ARE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW IS PREPARING YOU FOR WHAT IS GOING TO COME YOUR WAY*

During the fall, weather is usually mild and leaves start falling off from the trees.
Then comes winter, in which the weather is cold. Trees are bare in this season.
After the winter comes spring, where weather is a combination of cold as well as starts getting warmer marking the onset of summers.

Nature has its own way of preparing us for what's going to come our way.
In order to have new leaves the tree looses it's existing leaves in fall itself, isn't that thoughtful and magical at the same time?
Thougtful because it is well planned sequence of events.
And magical because there is no one supervising it, it still happens in the same sequence and at proper time, and has been happening for ages now!

Similar is with us, He already knows our future,he knows which department we lack in.
So He makes circumstances in such a way that, times make us stronger to face whatever comes our way in the future! 😊

#The Paradigm Shift - #Living A #Conscious Life*

*The Paradigm Shift - Living A Conscious Life*

Who you are, who surrounds you, what you have, what you would prefer to have, and most importantly what you deserve, are all chosen by YOU.

It takes tremendous courage to face your deepest truth. For most people, myself included, it takes a paradigm shift.

Your paradigm is your general view of something.

If you think certain people who comprise a certain portion of the population are not good, your paradigm will shift when you meet someone of that exact group of people who shows you that they are not ALL that way.

THAT is a paradigm shift.

What about how YOU are? What is your general view of you?

Once your unconscious beliefs are brought to light, or come up to the surface, they dissipate. When that happens, a deep and positive inner shift takes place. You have grown.

No longer will you live any area of your life where you feel you are treated like dirt. You will only work in the type of job you absolutely love. You will only be in a relationship where you are treated beautifully. You will also feel worthy enough to extend yourself to others with an open heart, without having a fear that you will be hurt.

You will feel strong, confident and much more of the REAL you. The real you is relative to those parts of your life that do not feel like they truly belong.

What kind of company do you keep? Do you hang out with criminals or people who help uplift humanity? Which do you really prefer deep within?

Do you have a spouse or lover who adores you, or one who treats you like garbage? Which do you prefer?

This is the relativity of your life. All of our choices, both conscious and unconscious, lie in our self worth.

Look at your life and you will find the indicator of your self worth. It is a deep, transformative process to uproot the unconscious beliefs that have created pain in our lives.

As your beliefs about yourself change, so too will your life change. It is all relative to what lies within.

You will know when you have grown. Your outer life will mirror your inner life in a healthier, more positive and life enhancing way.

It may be scary, however, choosing the best will show you the real truth: that you ARE the best. Relative to the old you, the changes in your life will be profound. It will feel like a whole new life. The life you DESERVE to live.

The #90/10 #Principle

*_The 90/10 Principle - Stephen Covey_*

The 90/10 Principle was popularized by Stephen Covey, the amazing author of The *7 Habits of Highly Effective People*.

It states that: 10% of life is made up of what happens to you, and 90% of life is decided by how you react.

We truly have no control over 10% of what happens to us.

What does this mean?

We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us.
We cannot stop the car from breaking down.
A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. You determine the other 90%.
How? By your reaction.

You cannot control a red light, but you can control your reaction.
Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example.

You are eating breakfast with your family.
Your daughter knocks over a cup of milk onto your business shirt.
You have no control over what just happened.
What happens next will be determined by how you react. You curse.
You harshly scold your daughter. She breaks down in tears.
After scolding her, you turn to your wife and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table.
You storm upstairs and change your shirt.
Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school.
She misses the bus. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school.
After a 15-minute delay you arrive at school.
After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase.
When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your wife and daughter.

Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad day?

A) Did the cup of hot milk cause it?

B) Did your daughter cause it?

C) Did you cause it?

The answer is C

You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

*A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, getting stressed out etc.*

*Know the difference between reacting and overreacting. Identify your triggers. Breathe before you do anything.*

Listen to your personal control tower, don't over react and stay blessed forever.

#WINNING MEANS #GIVING IT ALL

*WINNING MEANS GIVING IT ALL*

As Kipsang approached the final mile of the race he realized there were only three opponents left.

Obstacles standing between his goal and him.....the finish line.

As he reached the first opponent, he closed his eyes and heard this message:

*"You only fail if you fail to try."*
He peddled with all his might and took his place. One down, two to go.

As he neared number two once again closed his eyes. Knowing this one would be harder, he searched for strength. Not only was he more tired than before, but this opponent was the second strongest.

Suddenly he heard the voice from within:

*"You only see the obstacle when you take your mind off the goal."*

He visualized the finish line and continued to push his body to it's limit and took position number two.

His last opponent, his last obstacle was in first place for a reason. He symbolized every goal that he hoped to achieve. Knowing this would be the toughest moment of the race, he again closed his eyes. This time he waited for the message. But it didn't come. As the fear rose from inside he realized it was up to him, not this voice, to win the race. With that in mind, he opened his eyes and it hit him.

On the back of the opponent's shirt was the message. It read:

*"If you can read this........I'm winning!!!"*

Then with every ounce of energy in his body and soul, he peddled and fought the toughest battle of his life.

As he crossed the finish line, he realized that first place means nothing if you haven't given 150%. There is always someone out there who is a little faster or a little stronger, but the real champion is the one who reaches the finish line with nothing more to give.

IF YOU HAD ONE #DAY

*IF YOU HAD ONE DAY*

If you had one day to anything you wanted, what would that be??

Sing;
Even if people have told you, 'never sing,' you'll want to sing.

Jump;
Feel your strength surge from the tops of your legs to the tips of your toes.

Love;
Tell everybody you love that you love them.

Live;
Life is for living, not waiting.

Dance;
Feel the music and let the beat pulse through your blood like fire.

Reach;
Try to touch the stars.

Spin;
Let your arms fly around you in circles like the horses on a carousel.

Swim;
Jump into the water like you jump into life -
Head first with no regrets or worries.

Laugh;
Laugh loudly, and feel it from your stomach all the way up to your brain.

Meet;
Meet people you wouldn't meet before.

Cry;
Let your feelings be known.

Hug;
A hug is forever.

#JUST #IF

*JUST IF*

If tomorrow, I should never wake up, I wanted to say I'm sorry.
I'm sorry for what I've done, and what I haven't done.
I could have done more, I should have done more.

If I harmed you, yelled at you, ignored you, or didn't care...
I'm sorry

If tomorrow, I should never wake up, I wanted to say Thank You.

If me and you were the best of friends, thank you for always being there.

If me and you only talked once and a while, and didn't go to the same parties, and were.... not good friends, thank you for humbling me.

You are not perfect, but I am not either,
But thank you for having a part in my life.

If tomorrow, I should never wake up,
I wanted to say everything I never had time to.

#Breath

*An interesting read !

I noticed a child monk—he can't have been more than ten years old—teaching a group of five-year-olds.

He had a great aura about him, the poise and confidence of an adult.

"What are you doing?" I asked.
"We just taught their first class ever," he said, then asked me,

"What did you learn in your first day of school?"
"I started to learn the alphabet and numbers. What did they learn?"

*"The first thing we teach them is how to breathe."*

"Why?" I asked.

*"Because the only thing that stays with you from the moment you're born until the moment you die is your breath.*

All your friends, your family, the country you live in, all of that can change. The one thing that stays with you is your breath."

This ten-year-old monk added, "When you get stressed—what changes? Your breath.
When you get angry—what changes? Your breath.
We experience every emotion with the change of the breath. When you learn to navigate and manage your breath, you can navigate any situation in life."

#Positives in #Negatives

⬇ _*A wonderful Life Message.*_

*_Positives in Negatives!_*

_A young woman was sitting at her dining table, worried about taxes to be paid, house-work to be done and to top it all, her extended family was coming over for festival lunch the next day. She was not feeling very thankful at that time._

_As she turned her gaze sideways, she noticed her young daughter scribbling furiously into her notebook._

_"My teacher asked us to write a paragraph on *"Negative Thanks giving"* for homework today."_

_Said the daughter._

_"She asked us to write down things that we are thankful for, things that make us feel not so good in the beginning, but turn out to be good after all."_

_With curiosity, the mother peeked into the book. This is what her daughter wrote:_

_"I'm thankful for Final Exams, because that means school is almost over._

_I'm thankful for bad-tasting medicine, because it helps me feel better._

_I'm thankful for waking up to alarm clocks, because it means I'm still alive."_

_It then dawned on the mother, that she had a lot of things to be thankful for!_

_She thought again…_

_She had to pay taxes but that meant she was fortunate to be employed._

_She had house-work to do but that meant she had a shelter to live in._

_She had to cook for her many family members for lunch but that meant she had a family with whom she could celebrate._

_*Lesson:*_

_We generally complain about the negative things in life but we fail to look at the positive side of it._

_What is the positive in your negatives? Look at the better part of life today and make ur everyday a great day._

*_Be Positive Be happy and blessed alwaysπŸ’–_*.

#YOU ARE #UNIQUE

*YOU ARE UNIQUE*

Think what a remarkable, unduplicatable, and miraculous thing it is to be you! Of all the people who have come and gone on the earth, since the beginning of time, not ONE of them is like YOU!

No one who has ever lived or is to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, friends, acquaintances, burdens, sorrows and opportunities.

No one's hair grows exactly the way yours does. No one's finger prints are like yours. No one has the same combination of secret inside jokes and family expressions that you know.

The few people who laugh at all the same things you do, don't sneeze the way you do. No one prays about exactly the same concerns as you do. No one is loved by the same combination of people that love you - NO ONE!

No one before, no one to come. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE! Enjoy that uniqueness. You do not have to pretend in order to seem more like someone else. You weren't meant to be like someone else. You do not have to lie to conceal the of you that are not like what you see in anyone else.

You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history will the same things be going in anyone's mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now.

If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap in history, something missing from the plan for humankind.

Treasure your uniqueness. It is a gift given only to you. Enjoy it and share it!

No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person.

No one can be cheerful and lighthearted and joyous in your way. No one can smile your smile. No one else can bring the whole unique impact of you to another human being.

Share your uniqueness. Let it be free to flow out among your family and friends and people you meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you are. That gift of yourself was given you to enjoy and share. Give yourself away!

See it! Receive it! Let it tickle you! Let it inform you and nudge you and inspire you!

#Change

I asked one of my friends who has crossed 50 & is heading to 60. What sort of change he is feeling in him?

He sent me the following very interesting lines, which i would like to share with you all.....

1) After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children, my friends, now I have started loving myself.

2) I just realised that I am not "Atlas". The world does not rest on my shoulders.

3) I now stopped bargaining with vegetables & fruits vendors. After all, a few Rupees more is not going to burn a hole in my pocket but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter's school fees.

4) I pay the taxi driver without waiting for the change. The extra money might bring a smile on his face. After all he is toiling much harder for a living than me

5) I stopped telling the elderly that they've already narrated that story many times. After all, the story makes them walk down the memory lane & relive the past.

6) I have learnt not to correct people even when I know they are wrong. After all, the onus of making everyone perfect is not on me. Peace is more precious than perfection.

7) I give compliments freely & generously. After all it's a mood enhancer not only for the recipient, but also for me

8) I have learnt not to bother about a crease or a spot on my clothes. After all, personality speaks louder than appearances.

9) I walk away from people who don't value me. After all, they might not know my worth, but I do.

10) I remain cool when someone plays dirty politics to outrun me in the rat race. After all, I am not a rat & neither am I in any race.

11) I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions. After all, it's my emotions that make me human.

12) I have learnt that its better to drop the ego than to break a relationship. After all, my ego will keep me aloof whereas with relationships I will never be alone.

13) I have learnt to live each day as if it's the last. After all, it might be the last.

14) I am doing what makes me happy. After all, I am responsible for my happiness, and I owe it to me.

I decided to send this to many, because why do we have to wait for so long, why can't we practice this at any stage and age in life.

Best wishes to all my grown-up friends

#Thank you #God!

Always be grateul to God !
Thank you God!

The qualification that gave you a job is the same qualification someone has, who has lost his job.
*Be grateful.*

The prayer that God answered for you, is the same prayer others have been praying for, but without success.
*Be grateful.*

The road you use safely daily, is the same road where many others lost their precious lives.
*Be grateful.*

The temple in which God blessed you is the same temple, other people too worship in, yet their lives are still in discord.
*Be grateful.*

The bed you used in the hospital, you got healed, and were discharged is the same bed many other people breathed their last.
*Be grateful.*

The rain that made your field produce good crops is the same rain that devastated someone else's field.
*Be grateful.*

The money that you earned in the stock market, someone else lost.
*Be grateful.*

*Be grateful because whatever you have is not by your power, your might , your talent or your qualifications, but it's just the "Grace of God."*

*HE is the giver of everything you have.*

This too shall pass,

For everything you have, be grateful & stay blessed forever!

A #strong #message to all the #Ladies

Loved this .... A must read

A strong message to all the *Ladies* :

A few years ago, my friend had just crossed age 50. Just about 8 days later she was struck with an ailment ... And she died swiftly.
In the group we received a condolence message that ..."Sad .. she is no more with us"... *RIP* πŸ™

Two months later I called her husband. A thought crossed my mind ..he must be devastated as he had a travelling job. Till her death she would oversee everything.. home.. education of their children... Taking care of the aged in-laws.. their sickness.. managing relatives.. _*everything, everything, everything*_

She would express at times.." my house needs my time, .. my hubby cant even make coffee tea, my family needs me for everything, but no one cares or appreciates the efforts i put in. I feel they all take me for granted ".

I called her husband to see if the family needed any support, as, i felt her hubby must be feeling lost.. to suddenly have to handle all the responsibilities, for evetything.. aging parents, Kids, his travelling job, loneliness at this age.. how must he be managing?

The cell phone rang for some time..no response... After an hour he returned the call.. He apologised that he could not answer my call..as he had started playing tennis for an hour at his club and meeting friends etc. To ensure he had a good time.

He even took a transfer to Pune. So as not to travel anymore.

"All well at home? " I asked,

He replied, he had appointed a cook .. he paid her a little more and she would buy the groceries and provisions. He had appointed *full time caretakers* for his aging parents.

"Managing well...kids are fine. Life is returning to normalcy...he said.

I barely managed to say a couple of sentences and we hung up.
Tears welled up my eyes.
My friend remained in my thoughts... She had missed the school reunion for a minor ailment of her mother in law. She had miss her nieces wedding because she had to supervise the repair work in her house.
She had missed so many fun parties and movies because her children had exams she had to cook she had to take care of her husband's needs...
She had Always looked for some appreciation and some recognition.. which she never got.

Today I feel like telling her..
No one is indispensable.
And no one will be missed.. it is just the play of our mind.

Perhaps it is the consolation.. A symbol of our understanding if you would like to call it that... That's the problem of putting others first.
You have taught them that YOU COME SECOND

*Reality bites* :
_After her death *two more maids* were hired and the house was in order_

We only measure our respect and our value.. ain't that true?

Then do enjoy life.. Remove the frame of mind that I am indispensable and without me the house will suffer..πŸ™

My message to all Ladies :
Most importantly make time for *yourself* .. the *ME* time.. the time for the self..πŸƒπŸΌ‍♀️ 🚢🏻‍♀️

❤️ Get in touch with your friends... Talk, laugh and enjoy
🧑 Live your passion, live your life
πŸ’› Once in a while do things that you love to do ...
πŸ’™ Don't look for your happiness in others, *you too deserve some happiness* because if you are not happy you cannot make others happy
πŸ’š Everyone needs you, and you too need your own care and love..
πŸ’œ Women should come forward to help and guide other women who are unable to handle their personal stress and give them a hand to uplift their confidence.
🀎Let us HELP Ourselves and make this *LIFE WORTHWHILE* πŸ’
πŸ’“ we all have only one life to live ❣️

Life is beautiful ....

Start a new trend. Stop saying *Sorry* instead say *Thanks*

Like in place of *Sorry I am late* say *Thank you for waiting for me* or instead of *Sorry I am rambling* say *Thank you for listening*.

This will shift the way you think and improve your relationships with others who get to receive your *Gratitude* instead of *Negativity*.

#Exploit

Put a frog into a vessel fill with water and start heating the water. As the temperature of the water begins to rise, the frog adjust its body temperature accordingly. The frog keeps adjusting its body temperature with the increasing temperature of the water. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog cannot adjust anymore. At this point the frog decides to jump out. The frog tries to jump but it is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising water temperature. Very soon the frog dies.

*What killed the frog?*
*Think about it!*

I know many of us will say the boiling water. But the truth about what killed the frog was *its own inability to decide when to jump out.*

We all need to adjust with people & situations, but we need to be sure when we need to adjust & when we need to move on. There are times when we need to face the situation and take appropriate actions.

*If we allow people to exploit us physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually or mentally they will continue to do so.*

Let us decide when to jump!
Let's jump while we still have the strength.

#fulfillment

*To find fulfillment, we need to stop looking out for number one and start looking devotionally at the eternal Number One*

To look out for number one is a phrase that means to act for one's own interest without caring for others. We tend to look out for number one when we believe we are existentially alone and won't survive in the big, bad world if we aren't self-centered.

However, surviving alone doesn't bring fulfillment; thriving does. And we thrive when we connect lovingly with others and contribute wholeheartedly to some cause bigger than ourselves.

Among all such connections and contributions, the best is the one centered on the Divine, because we all are parts of the supreme divinity, Krishna. As he is the source of everything attractive, and thereby the source of all happiness, connecting with him provides us the greatest fulfillment. And as he is everyone's benefactor, contributing in a mood of service to him enables us to do the greatest good for others and for ourselves too.

For connecting with Krishna and contributing in the mood of service to him, we need to appreciate his glory as our all-attractive, all-benevolent Lord. Essentially, we need to appreciate Krishna as the eternal Number One. However, as long as we are looking out for number one, we can't look at and focus on anyone else, certainly not Krishna. Though he too looks out for us, his protection is not always seen at the immediate material level, which is all that we perceive as long as we are looking out for number one.

Nonetheless, if we study Gita wisdom, we can understand Krishna's omnipotent position and benevolent disposition. Thereby, we can get the intellectual impetus to redirect our focus from ourselves to him and delight in devotional absorption in him.

*Verse 15.07 - "The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind"*

*Think it over:*

Why do we tend to look out for number one?

Why is Krishna the eternal Number One?

What stops us from looking at Krishna?
How can we change that?

#Time Is An #Equal #Opportunity #Employer*

*Time Is An Equal Opportunity Employer*

Time is an equal opportunity employer. Each human being has exactly the same number of hours and minutes every day.

Rich people can't buy more time. Scientists can't invent new minutes. *And you can't save time to spend on another day.*

Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving. No matter how much time you've wasted in the past, you still have an entire tomorrow.

Success depends upon using it wisely - - by planning and setting priorities.

How #old are you ??

Many of my well wishers often ask me- how old are you?
I tell them how can I answer
This stupid question!

When I play with a little child
I am one year old.
When I watch cartoons
I'm three.
When I dance to the tune of music, I am sweet sixteen.
Yes, when I try to heal
someone's wound,
I'm sure I've crossed six decades of my life span.
And when I chat with sparrows or bulbuls,
Or run after my dog and his ball,
I become their age.

What is there in age?
Isn't it a number only?
Like the light of the sun
And the flowing river waters
I am ageless.
I keep changing with time and the experience.

Days are marching towards night
No doubt,
Whenever it extends its hand
I shall hold it.

Till then It's not my age that matters.
How fully have I lived thus far, which is the crux and consideration.🌷

YOU ARE #WORTH IT!

*YOU ARE WORTH IT!*

Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Do not set your goals by what other people deem important.
Only you know what is best for you.

Do not take for granted the things closest to your heart.
Cling to them as you would your life,
For without them, life is meaningless.

Do not let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past
Nor in the future.

By living your life one day at a time,
You live all the days of your life.

Do not give up when you still have something to give.
Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

It is a fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Do not be afraid to encounter risks.
It is by taking chances; that we learn how to be brave.

Do not shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love;
The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly.

Do not dismiss your dreams.
To be without dreams is to be without hope;
To be without hope is to be without purpose.

Do not run through life so fast
That you forget not only where you have been,
But also where you are going.

Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

Who Moved My #Cheese

*Who Moved My Cheese*

I have read this little book multiple times and read it whenever any new complexity arises.
It is about coping up positively with change.

*Who Moved My Cheese illustrates the simple fact that change will happen, whether we choose to accept it or not.*

*The defining factor is how we deal with it; whether we allow ourselves to change or insist on staying the same.*

The story involves four characters who live in a maze: the mice Scurry and Sniff, and two little people named Hem and Haw.
They find a huge source of cheese in the maze.
Hem and Haw move their houses to be near it and the cheese becomes the centre of their lives.
But they do not notice that it is getting smaller, and are devastated when they arrive at the site one morning and find the cheese is gone.
Having built their lives around the big cheese, they feel they are the victims of fraud.
Yet this only makes things worse, as their clinging on ensures that they go hungry.

The mice Scurry and Sniff, on the other hand, quickly accept the loss of the cheese and go off into the maze in search of other sources.

For them, the solution is simple: *The situation has changed, so they must change*.

The fable captures that moment and experiences we are all familiar with i.e., sudden, unexpected change.

The author's message comes out loud and clear and that is that instead of seeing change as the end of something, we must learn to see it as a beginning.

Like, to make himself accept reality, Haw writes this on the wall of the maze –*"If you do not change, you can become extinct."*

Another of my favourite quotes from the book is –*"What would you do if you weren't afraid?"*

And finally, here's an advice from Haw that has helped me immensely at various stages of my life –

*"Sometimes, Hem, things change and they are never the same again.* This looks like one of those times. That's life! Life moves on. And so should we."

This too shall pass,
Let's not wait for the old normal to return to,

Let's accept the new normal, lets change and stay blessed forever.

#SUCCESS #BREEDS SUCCESS

*SUCCESS BREEDS SUCCESS*

There was a farmer who grew superior quality, award-winning corn in his farm. Each year, he entered his corn in the state fair where it won honors and prizes.

One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew his corn. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors.

"How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in the competition with yours each year?" The reporter asked. "Why brother?"

The farmer replied, "Didn't you know? The wind picks up pollen grains from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior, sub-standard and poor quality corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I have to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors to grow good corns too."

The farmer gave a superb insight into the connectedness of life. His corn cannot improve unless his neighbors' corn also improves. So it is in the other dimensions and areas of life!

Those who choose to be in harmony must help their neighbors and colleagues to be at peace. Those who choose to live well must help others live well too. The value of a life is measured by the lives it touches...

Success does not happen in isolation; it is most often a participatory and collective process. So share the good practices, ideas and new knowledge with your family, friends, team members and neighbors and all.

"Success breeds Success."

#14 #LEADERSHIP #TRAITS

*14 LEADERSHIP TRAITS*

*1. JUSTICE*- a reward or penalty as deserved.

*2. JUDGMENT*- the ability to come to a sound opinion

*3. DEDICATION*- to devote to a purpose

*4. INTEGRITY*- acting honestly and sincerely

*5. DISCIPLINE*- being efficient in controlling oneself

*6. TACT*- the ability to say something without offending

*7. INITIATIVE*- the action of taking the first step or move

*8. ENTHUSIASM*- an intense or eager interest

*9. BEARING*- the way one carries and conducts oneself in pressure situations

*10. UNSELFISHNESS*- showing a concern for the interest of others rather than yourself

*11. COURAGE*- the quality of being consistently brave

*12. KNOWLEDGE*- how well you understand a specific task

*13. LOYALTY*- faithful to ones family, friends, colleagues, and obligations

*14. ENDURANCE*- the ability to last and withstand pain

These traits are the road map to character. They separate a team with character from a team of characters. A team of characters will never be successful, no matter how gifted they are, because they lack the traits that give them standards for the degree of excellence that they hold themselves and teammates accountable for day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute.

If we teach character, we can go to bed, knowing that we sent young men into life with the tools to succeed.

#Self #esteem

*Strategies For Building Self-Esteem*

*What is Self-Esteem?*

Most people's thoughts and feelings about themselves fluctuate somewhat based on their daily experiences. The grade you get on an exam, how your friends treat you, ups and downs in a romantic relationship can all have a temporary impact on how you feel about yourself.

Your self-esteem, however, is something more fundamental than the normal ups and downs associated with situational changes. For people with good self-esteem, normal ups and downs may lead to temporary fluctuations in how they feel about themselves, but only to a limited extent. In contrast, for people with poor self-esteem, these ups and downs drastically impact the way they see themselves.

*Poor vs. Healthy Self-Esteem*

People with poor self-esteem often rely on how they are doing in the present to determine how they feel about themselves. They need positive external experiences (e.g., compliments from friends) to counteract the negative feelings and thoughts that constantly plague them. Even then, the good feeling (such as from a good grade or compliment) is usually temporary.

Healthy self-esteem is based on our ability to assess ourselves accurately and still be accepting of who we are. This means being able to acknowledge our strengths and weaknesses (we all have them!) and at the same time recognize that we are worthy and worthwhile.

*Where Does Self-Esteem Come From?*

Our self-esteem evolves throughout our lives as we develop an image of ourselves through our experiences with different people and activities.

Experiences during childhood play a particularly large role in the shaping of self-esteem. When we were growing up, our successes, failures, and how we were treated by our family, teachers, coaches, religious authorities, and peers, all contributed to the creation of our self-esteem.

*Childhood experiences that contribute to healthy self-esteem include:*

Being listened to

Being spoken to respectfully

Getting appropriate attention and affection

Having accomplishments be recognized and mistakes or failures be acknowledged and accepted

*Childhood experiences that may lead to low self-esteem include:*

Being harshly criticized

Being physically, sexually, or emotionally abused

Being ignored, ridiculed, or teased

Being expected to be perfect all the time.

People with low self-esteem were often given messages from parents, teachers, peers, or others' failed experiences (losing a game, getting a poor grade, etc.) were failures of their whole self

#Kensho#Satori

"If you are suffering, you are growing."

Michael Bernard Beckwith shared two concepts which intrigued me. The two concepts are "Kensho" and "Satori."

What is Kensho?

When we are going through some tough phases of your life.Phases could be because of the financial situation, health issues, relationship issues, break-ups, career issues etc we are developing new awareness, Insights about life. The learnings which we have never thought, happens during that phase. If you are bankrupt, you learn to start valuing money, you start valuing what you have in life. If you are sick, you start appreciating your body, if you are losing someone, you start understanding their values in your life. This are called "Kensho" moments. Kensho always helps us to find our inner strength, shows us the wisdom we have never imagined and helps us grow.

When we grow through resources that are available to us, it's "Satori." Whenever you getting new wisdom through reading books, from online courses, by meeting new people, those are Satori moments.

#Pace vs. #Potential

*Pace vs. Potential*

Have you ever noticed a strange thing when you get off the highway onto an off ramp or side road?

On the highway you're doing about 100 kmph an hour, and the speed limit on the side road says 60 kmph an hour. You hit the brakes, and think you may have slowed down to 60 kmph. Yet, you're still doing 80kmph.

Horrors! You were sure you'd slowed down enough and yet you haven't.

You're experiencing *pace vs. potential.*

If you were driving at 60kmph before you hit the off ramp, you'd do 60kmph quite easily. It's because you were oh-so-fast, that you ended doing an 80. But how the heck are you going to ever do an 80 in your life, if you don't hit 100?

Because when you're on 100, even your hit-the-brake speed is a good 80.

People hate to be pushed

They want to go at their own pace. They believe they know what's good for them. Yet your life is like a car. You don't know your potential till you really hit the accelerator. You don't know how far you can go unless you feel the tires steaming up.

Look around you. The little ol' lady in the next lane is still getting to her destination, but she'll get there whenever. At her own pace. Pace is great. But potential, ah...now that's when you really know the stuff you're made of.

Tiger is the best golfer in the world. Because his coach knows the pace of Tiger. But the coach pushes Tiger to his potential.

The difference between pace and potential isn't always a big gap. Try it. It will make a world of a difference in both your business as well as your personal life.

*Summary:*

1. Pace is good. But pace is you. And goodness gracious, you don't really know yourself as well as you think you do.

2. Potential is when you hit the accelerator. When you find what is really possible to achieve. Once you know what you can achieve you're breaking the speed limit.

3. Tiger is naturally talented. Yeah right. So are a squillion other golfers. The difference between Tiger and the others is Tiger doesn't keep to the pace of the others. He keeps stretching his own potential. You should too.

#Ignore #labels #loyalty

During a prank,

A student stuck a paper on his classmate's back that said "I'm stupid"; he asked the rest of the class not to tell him.

Thus, the students began laughing throughout the day... Shortly after, math class started and their professor wrote a difficult question on the board.

No one was able to answer it except that student. Amid the slight laughs, for he didn't know why, he walked towards the board and he solved it. The teacher asked the class to clap and removed the paper on his back.

He told him, "It seems that you don't know about the paper on your back that one of your classmates put and the rest of them kept it a secret."

Then, he faced towards the rest of the class and said, "Before I give you a punishment, I will tell you two things: throughout your life, people will put labels on your back with many bad things written on it to stop your progress.

If he had known about the paper, he would not have answered.

All you have to do is ignore it. Ignore the labels people give you and use every chance you have to progress, learn and improve yourself."

"The 2nd thing is that it's clear that he does not have any loyal friends among you all to tell him about removing the paper. It does not matter how many friends you have, it is the loyalty between you and your friends that matter !!!

#Seven #Steps to #Success

*Seven Steps to Success*

There is a powerful seven step formula that you can use to set and achieve your goals for the rest of your life. Every single successful person uses this formula or some variation of this formula to achieve vastly more than the average person. And so can you. Here it is:

*Decide What You Want*
First, decide exactly what it is you want in each part of your life. Become a "meaningful specific" rather than a "wandering generality."

*Write it Down*
Second, write it down, clearly and in detail. Always think on paper. A goal that is not in writing is not a goal at all. It is merely a wish and it has no energy behind it.

*Set a Deadline*
Third, set a deadline for your goal. A deadline acts as a "forcing system" in your subconscious mind. It motivates you to do the things necessary to make your goal come true. If it is a big enough goal, set sub-deadlines as well. Don't leave this to chance.

*Make a List*
Fourth, make a list of everything that you can think of that you are going to have to do to achieve your goal. When you think of new tasks and activities, write them on your list until your list is complete.

*Organize Your List*
Fifth, organize your list into a plan. Decide what you will have to do first and what you will have to do second. Decide what is more important and what is less important. And then write out your plan on paper, the same way you would develop a blueprint to build your dream house.

*Take Action*
The sixth step is for you to take action on your plan. Do something. Do anything. But get busy. Get going.

*Do Something Every Day*
Seventh, do something every single day that moves you in the direction of your most important goal at the moment. Develop the discipline of doing something 365 days each year that is moving you forward. You will be absolutely astonished at how much you accomplish when you utilize this formula in your life every single day.

*Action Exercises*
Here are two things you can do to put these ideas into action immediately.

*First*, decide exactly what you want, write it down with a deadline, make a plan and take action - on at least one goal - today!

*Second*, determine the price you will have to pay to achieve this goal and then get busy paying that price - whatever it is.

#Sometimes we #Forget

*Sometimes We Forget*

Sometimes we forget that there are people watching
Us (I mean our actions).

Sometimes we forget we are letters read on a daily basis.

In these letters we are sometimes the headings, the lines,
The chapters, the verses, the comas, the full stops which
Are all important.

Sometimes we forget that there are those who take serious
What we do slightly and think there hasn't been any impact made.

Sometimes we forget that the power to do good to others
Lies within us and when we release it we are bound to be
Affected by the same.

Sometimes we ignore the fact that whatever we sow is what
We reap in life

Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes.

#Michael #Jordan

*Michael Jordan* was an African-American man, born in 1963, in the slums of Brooklyn, New York.

He had four brothers and his father's wages were not sufficient to provide for the whole family.

He grew up in a poor neighbourhood which was full of discrimination, to the point where he could not see any hope for the future.

When he was 13 years old, his father gave him a piece of used clothing and asked: "What do you think the value of this outfit would be?"

Jordan replied, "Maybe one dollar."
His father asked, "Can you sell it for two dollars? If you can sell it, it would mean that you are a big help
to your father and mother. "

Jordan nodded his head, "I'll try, but no guarantee that I'll be successful."
Jordan carefully washed the clothes clean. Because they didn't have an iron, to smoothen out clothes, he leveled it with a clothes brush on a flat board, then kept it in the sun to dry. The next day, he brought the clothes to a crowded underground station. After offering it for more than six hours. Jordan finally managed to sell it for $2. He took the two dollar bill and ran home.

After that, everyday he was looked for used clothing, washed and ironed it and sold it in the crowd.

More than ten days later, his father again gave him a piece of used clothing, "Now think of a way that you can sell these clothes for 20 bucks?"
Jordan said, "How is it possible? This outfit can only fetch two dollars at the most. "

His father replied in an effort to inspire him, "Why don't you try it first? There must be a way."

Finally, Jordan got an Idea He asked for cousin's help to paint a picture of Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse on the garment. Then he tried to sell it in the school where the children of the rich study. Soon a housekeeper, who was there to pick his master, bought clothes for his master. The master was a little boy of only 10 years but was very fond of clothes. He loved it so much and he gave a five dollar tip. 25 dollars was a huge amount for Jordan, the equivalent of a month's salary of his father.

When he got home, his father gave him yet another piece of used clothing. "Are you able to resell it at a price of 200 dollars?" His eyes lit up.

This time, Jordan accepted the clothes without the slightest doubt. Two months later a popular movie actress from the movie "Charlie's Angels", Farah Fawcett came to New York for her Movie promos. After the press conference, Jordan made his way through the security forces to reach the side of Farah Fawcett and requested her autograph on the piece of clothing. When Fawcett saw this innocent child asking for her autograph, she gladly signed it.

Jordan was shouting very excitedly, "This is a jersey signed by Miss Farah Fawcett, the selling price is 200 dollars!"He auctioned off the clothes, to a businessman for a price of 1,200 dollars!

Upon returning home, his father by broke into tears & said, "I am amazed that you did it my child!

You're really great! "

That night, Jordan slept alongside his father. His father said, "Son, in your experience selling these three pieces of clothing, what did you learn about success?"

Jordan replied, "Where there's a will, there's a way."

His father nodded his head, then shook his head, "What you say is not entirely wrong! But that was not my intention.

I just wanted to show you that even a piece of used clothing which is worth only a dollar can be increased in value, Then how about us - living & thinking humans? We may be darker and poorer, but what's the difference? "

This thought enlightened young Jordan. When a piece of used clothing could be made dignified, then why not me?

There is absolutely no reason to underestimate myself.

From then on, Michael Jordan felt that his future would be beautiful and full of hope.

Our potential is so great, and should not be viewed small & low only because of our status, looks or wealth. Even a diamond is just a stone before it has been polished.

This too shall pass,
Believe in yourself, you are stronger than you think, Keep trying your best and striving ahead and stay blessed forever!

The #Universal #Law is the Law of #At traction

*The Universal Law is the Law of Attraction*

What you get out of life is exactly what you put into it. Happiness is thought first, and then your feelings follow. What you (or your ego) verbalize to you on a regular basis is exactly what you will get, because you've already defeated yourself. You've given yourself permission to quit.

If you want to change your life, your karma, your state of mind, all you have to do is learn to "think" differently. Learn to think positive thoughts. Decide beforehand that you are going to be happy, or that you are going to like something, and you will!

This is a double-edge sword, because when you change your thoughts to positive ones, you attract positive people, which in turn, begets better outcomes and opportunities for yourself.

Don't think so? Then think about this: When you meet someone and they are happy, full of life, treat you like you are special, how does that make you feel? You want to be around people who make you feel good. It's human nature! So, if you start "feeling good" on your own - if you make the decision to be happy, you will attract that! You will attract people who will want to help you. Your life will get better, because Like Begets Like. The Universal Law is the Law of Attraction.

If you want to continue being negative, then that is exactly what you will attract. It's bad Karma to be negative, so be happy. If your life sucks right now, then be happy for what is good. If you examine it hard enough, you can find something to be grateful about - even if the only thing you can find to be grateful about is that God loves you and will be there for you if you'll let Him. I once read that it is folly to place your faith in man, because man will disappoint you. Place your faith in God and He will never let you down.

If none of this helps you to be happy, then it's time to forget your self-interest and focus on others. Make other people happy and you will reap the rewards, because the Law of the Universe works, whether you believe it or not. Try it and watch the miracle unfold!

#Forgiveness

*Forgiveness*

It is monsoon time again & when we use our car, we use our car windshield wipers.

I will never forget this conversation I had with my son.

One rainy afternoon I was driving along one of the main streets of town, taking those extra precautions necessary when the roads are wet and slick.

Suddenly, my son, spoke up from his relaxed position in his seat. "Dad, I'm thinking of something."

This announcement usually meant he had been pondering some fact for a while, and was now ready to expound all that his eight-year-old mind had discovered. I was eager to hear.

"What are you thinking?" I asked.

"The rain!" he began, "is like sin, and the windshield wipers are like God wiping our sins away."

After the chill bumps raced up my arms I was able to respond.
"That's really good, son."

Then my curiosity broke in. How far would this little guy take
this revelation? So I asked, "Do you notice how the rain
keeps on coming? What does that tell you?"

He didn't hesitate one moment with his answer:
"We keep on sinning, and God just keeps on forgiving us."

What a profound thought & one which I will always remember whenever I turn my wipers on.

God teaches us, always forgive those who have sinned against you.
Forgiveness is pure happiness. Pure happiness is achieved because when you forgive a person who has done you harm, you detoxify yourself of all negative energy, free your mind and purify your soul and body.

As long as we don't forgive people who hurt us, they occupy a rent free space in our mind.

This too shall pass,
Forgive and forget and stay blessed forever.

#Lemon juice#lemonade

Sharing a post from a friend.

"I still remember the day I was preparing fresh lime water for the first time...I ended up adding almost five times the amount of lemon than needed. It was a disaster.I had to correct it anyhow.

How I wish I could remove some lemon juice from water to make it taste perfect again! But alas!

Some things can never be undone. Some things can never be changed. There was no way that I know of, to remove the extra lime. So what was the solution then? The only way to correct this was to add four more glasses of water and dilute the lemon juice to make five glasses of fresh lime water.

This made me think.. Sometimes we cannot undo some things that have gone wrong in life. Some wrong decisions, wrong choices, wrong investments, wrong actions, wrong associations, wrong words or wrong doings can never be undone.

So what is the solution then?

When you cannot correct what is wrong, do not waste more time over it. It is like attempting to remove lemon from water.

Instead, get busy in adding so many right things in your life that the wrong seems insignificant.
We all have a negative side to ourselves. We may not be able to remove or correct all our negativities. But we can definitely continue adding positive thoughts, positive reading and positive people in our lives and dilute the negativity. We all have to deal with some easy people and some difficult people in our lives.

Do not waste time trying to change the difficult people. You will drain all your emotional energy in vain. Instead spend more time with the pleasant positive happy people and the difficult people will not affect you any more.

Everything in your life will never be perfect. Do not waste too much time correcting what is wrong.

Get busy doing the right things ...."

#fallback

Who is your fallback..!!πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

People help you the way they know to help you. To help you to come out of stress, one friend will ask you to drink and another will ask you to meditate.

To overcome hurt, one friend will ask you to take revenge and get even, and another will ask you to forgive and get ahead with your life. 'Who is your fallback' makes all the difference.

Duryodhana's predicament, in his own words, was, "I know what is right but I am not able to indulge in it. I know what is wrong but I am not able to avoid it." He needed a fallback. His fallback was his uncle Shakuni, and resultantly, Duryodhana moved from bad to worse.

Arjuna's predicament was different. He was allowing his personal emotions to dominate his sense of duty, and hence wanted to escape from the responsibilities he had towards upholding righteousness. He needed a fallback. His fallback was Krishna, and resultantly, Arjuna was restored to his greatness.

Humans we are, at some point or the other, we all need a fallback. 'Who is your fallback' makes all the difference.

#story

My story in 5 paragraphs. I bet it is yours too.

Paragraph One

I walk down the street.
There is an open sink hole I didn't notice.
I fall in.
I am hurt. I am helpless.
It isn't my fault. I cry and complain.
It takes a life time to come out.

Paragraph Two

I walk down the street.
There is an open sink hole I didn't notice.
I pretend it does not exist.
I fall in again.
I can't believe my bad luck.
But, it isn't my fault. It's all destiny.
It still takes a long time to get out.

Paragraph Three

I walk down the same street.
There is an open sink hole.
I see it is there.
I still fall in … it's a habit.
It is my fault. I accept responsibility.
I grimace and get out immediately.

Paragraph Four

I walk down the same street.
I can see the open sink hole I knew was there.
I am alert.
I walk around it.

Paragraph Five

I walk down another street.

I was living paragraphs 1,2,3 for a long time. Life had no progress. Happiness was rare. Today, paragraphs 4 and 5 dominate my life. Hence, if you ask me, "Sonal, how are you? My reply would be, "I am on Top of the World." Progress and happiness are my constant companions.

*Which paragraph dominates your life, my dear friend?*

Change your thoughts. Change your life.

#suicide#sushantsinghrajput

I have heard: a man went to the river to end his life. A Sufi fakir was sitting on the riverbank and he asked, "What are you doing?"

The man was just about to jump in. He said, "Don't stop me. It's too much! This life is nothing, everything is meaningless. I never got anything I wanted, I always got what I wanted to avoid. God is against me, so why should I continue this life?"

The fakir said, "Wait, stay one more day – then you can die. What's the rush? You say you don't have anything?"

The man replied, "Nothing at all. If I had anything, why would I come to take my life?"

The fakir said, "Come with me. The king of this place is my friend." The fakir took him to the king and he whispered something in the king's ear. The king said, "I can offer you a million rupees." The man heard only this, he couldn't hear what the fakir had whispered. The king said, "I can give you a million rupees."

The fakir went to the man and whispered in his ear, "The king is ready to buy both your eyes for a million rupees: will you sell them?"

The man said, "What do you mean? I? Sell my eyes! For a million rupees! Even if he offers ten million I am not going to part with them."

The fakir again consulted the king, and then he said, "Okay, he can give you eleven million." The man said, "Drop the whole idea. I am not doing this kind of business. Why should I sell my eyes?"

The fakir asked, "Will you sell your ears? How about your nose? The king is ready to purchase any part of your body, and at whatever price you ask."

The man said, "No. I won't participate in this business. Why should I sell anything?"

The fakir said, "Look, you are not ready to sell your eyes even for eleven million rupees, and last night you were going to kill yourself. You said you didn't have a thing."

We cannot see what we have. Just think about these eyes. What a miracle! The eye is made from skin, it is a part of the skin, but the eye can see. How crystal clear it is! The impossible has become possible. These ears can hear music, the sweet songs of birds, the murmuring of breezes, the roar of the ocean. These ears are made from skin and bones. Look at this miracle.

You are! This is such a great miracle. Can you imagine a greater miracle? In this body of flesh, bones and blood the lamp of consciousness is burning. Just assess the value of this lamp of consciousness.

No, you have no eyes for it. You say you need a job paying a hundred rupees, but you get one at ninety rupees and you are ready to commit suicide. Or you wanted to have a big house but you got a small one and it seems life has no meaning. Or you go bankrupt, your bank account empties, and you say "Why go on living?" Or you loved a woman and couldn't get her, or loved a man and couldn't get him. Now you want to die.

The more you desire, the more unhappy you are. The more you see how much you receive without desiring, the more indescribable gifts will shower on you, uncaused. What do you deserve? What have you done to deserve the life you have been given? What have you done that you can dance in the sun's rays for a moment or talk with the moon and stars? On what basis? What claim can you make?

On what basis do you claim the right to touch gentle breezes, and to sing sweetly, to be bubbling with joy, or to be able to meditate? What have you done for these gifts? All this has come to you – pure grace – and still you are miserable. Still you are complaining, still you are sad. Certainly this disease of the ego is consuming us. Everyone is infected with it.
