☆ An Excellent Message ☆

Who is packing your parachute?

Air Commodore Vishal was a Jet Pilot. In a combat mission his fighter plane was destroyed by a missile. He however ejected himself and parachuted safely. He won acclaims and appreciations from many.

After five years one day he was sitting with his wife in a restaurant. A man from another table came to him and said "You're Captain Vishal ! You flew jet fighters. You were shot down!"

"How in the world did you know that?" asked Vishal.
"I packed your parachute," the man smiled and replied.

Vishal gasped in surprise and gratitude and thought if parachute hadn't worked, I wouldn't be here today. Vishal couldn't sleep that night, thinking about that man. He wondered how many times I might have seen him and not even said 'Good morning, how are you?' or anything because, he was a fighter pilot and that person was just a Constable."

So friends, who is packing your parachute?

Everyone has someone who provides what they need to make it through the day.
We need many kinds of parachutes when our plane is shot down – we need the physical parachute, the mental parachute, the emotional parachute, and the spiritual parachute.
We call on all these supports before reaching safety.

Sometimes in the daily challenges that life gives us, we miss what is really important.

We may fail to say hello, please, or thank you, congratulate someone on something wonderful that has happened to them, give a compliment, or just do something nice for no reason.

As you go through this week, this month, this year, recognize the people who pack your parachute !!!

A very good management lesson
Once upon a time a very strong woodcutter asked for a job with a timber merchant, and he got it. His salary was really good and so were the working conditions. For that reason, the woodcutter was determined to do his best.
His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he was supposed to fell the trees. The first day, the woodcutter brought down 15 trees.
" Congratulations," the boss said. " Carry on with your work!"
Highly motivated by the words of his boss, the woodcutter tried harder the next day, but he only could bring 10 trees down. The third day he tried even harder, but he was only able to bring down 7 trees.
Day after day he was bringing lesser number of trees down.
" I must be losing my strength", the woodcutter thought. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.
" When was the last time you sharpened your axe?" the boss asked.
" Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been very busy trying to cut trees..."
That's right. Most of us NEVER update our skills. We think that whatever we have learned is very much enough. But good is not good when better is expected. Sharpening our skills from time to time is the key to success.

We are glad to update that Oberoi Realty do plan to launch the Borivali East premium residential project by second week of Sep 2015  / early 1st week of Aug 2015.

For the initial 2-3 days, there will be a special rate offer for a limited inventory through preferred channel partners of Oberoi Realty. A very dear friend is a preferred channel partner with Oberoi Realty

I'm very positive and highly recommend investing in this upcoming project by Oberoi Realty @ Borivalli East on the 25 Acre land parcel bought from Tata Steel, opp Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The pre-launch was first expected to be announced in March 2015.

Hence would like to reach out to all my clients/ investors to understand their interest and preference of unit type, floor preference, etc in advance to ensure a booking of their choice.

Oberoi Borivali project is on the main WE highway overlooking the lush green National Park spreading across 25 Acres, 8 to 10 Towers of 55-60 storey each consisting of 3 BHK (1000-1100 sqft carpet area) & 4 BHK (1300-1400 sqft carpet area) premium units only. Tentative pricing of a 3 BHK expected to start from Rs. 2.50 Crs and a 4 BHK expected to be priced at Rs. 3.50 Crs onwards.  Booking will be initiated with a booking amount of 10%.

Considering the excellent track record of Oberoi Developers with all their precious projects - Oberoi Springs Andheri West, Oberoi City Goregaon East and the latest launch at Mulund had seen overwhelming response in the initial couple of days of launch period and the appreciation in price there after.

Oberoi Borivali East Project is one of most awaited project from the Oberoi Realty portfolio and is expected to be the most ambitious and one of the bigger project from Oberoi's. The project is supposed to set new benchmark in real estate in Mumbai in terms of concept, design and scale.

#OBSTACLE IS THE WAY

OBSTACLE IS THE WAY:

1. Its all about perception!
so called obstacles have hidden  opportunities.... its the way we look at a situation... there is great strength in our Belief 'Hari iccha balwan!' that whatever He sends us, He always has our best interests at heart.
2. Take Action ! All the gyan  in the world is worthless  if not implemented/ acted upon. Secret of Success lies  in moving forward towards the intended goal. Inaction breeds definite failure.
3. Post Action comes "Will' not before action. Action is required to start... Will is rqrd to 'keep at it" inspite of slow pace of achievement  and even initial failures. Also Will is required to 'not give up' , pick yourself up from your fall, get up and get going! Jitni bhi baar.

One more.... there  is  strength in  vulnerability. This  is  something  i truly believe  in.

Perception is A Reality unique to each.

Every adverse situation presents us with a choice, whether to approach it with complaint or to compassion.

Complaint unsettles us, delays resolution and accumulates negative karma, whereas compassion keeps us calm thus making it easier to find a resolution and balance out our karma. Thus, our choice decides our Karma.

#Unfair

Every unfair situation, every closed door isn't a setback. It's a setup for God to get you to where He wants you to be...

🌹 🌹 Good Evening 🌹 🌹

Have a blessed day 🙏

#Mythology of King Dhritrashtra

Mythology Of King Dhritrashtra - King Dhritrashtra, the father of the Kauravas, once asked Lord Krishna, why has he gone through such misfortune in his life - firstly he was born blind and secondly, losing one son in your lifetime is horrible enough, but King Dhritrashtra lost the lives of all his one hundred sons in front of him, it was really a horrible misfortune he had come upon.  He begged Lord Krishna, to explain why.

To this Lord Krishna answered that King Dhritrashtra had one hundred lives ago, (please note - one hundred lives ago) unknowingly got the hundred children of a set of birds killed and while the parents tried to rescue their hundred children, they were blinded. So those set of birds cursed Dhritrashtra that he too would go through the same torture, these birds went through, and that is why - 100 lives later, Dhritrashtra had to go through this life of misfortune as his fruit of his bad karma had materialised a hundred lives later.

To this again Dhritrashtra asked that why did he not suffer the misfortunes immediately or within 1 or 2 lives after, why after a huge gap of 100 lives ??

Lord Krishna answers that to get one son is basically a fruit of some good deeds so in order for Dhritrashtra to get 100 sons, all his good deeds of his last 100 lives had to be accumulated and after 100 lives, when God saw that he had enough good deeds to have 100 sons, he gave him the birth of Dhritrashtra and that too in a blind form and then made him suffer for his wrongdoings.

#paradox

Very interesting Paradox

This is part of ancient Greek history. This is known as Protagoras's Paradox. This case was not solved. The most interesting part - this is still debated (even today) in law schools as a logic problem!

Many years ago, a Law teacher came across a student who was willing to learn but was unable to pay the
fees.  The student struck a deal saying,  "I will pay your fee the day I win my first case in the court".
Teacher agreed and proceeded with the law course. When the course was finished and teacher started

pestering the student to pay   up the fee, the student reminded him of the deal and pushed days.
Fed up with this, the teacher decided to sue the student in the court of law and both of them decided

to argue for themselves.

The teacher put forward his argument saying:  "If I win this case, as per the court of law, the student has to

pay me as the case is about his non-payment of dues.
And if I lose the case, student will still pay me because he would have won his first case.
So either way I will have to get the money".

Equally brilliant, the student argued back saying:  "If I win the case, as per the court of law, I don't have to

pay anything to the teacher as the case is about my non-payment of dues. And if I lose the case, I don't have

to pay him because I haven't won my first case yet.
So either way, I am not going to pay the teacher anything".

This is one of the greatest paradoxes ever recorded.

#Value

#Relationship

An Inspirational Story to improve difficult relationships
A long time ago, a girl named Loveleen got married and went to live with her husband and mother-in-law.
In a very short time, Loveleen found that she couldn't get along with her mother-in-law at all. Their personalities were very different, and Loveleen was angered by many of her mother-in-law's habits. In addition, she criticized Li-Li constantly.
Days passed days, and weeks passed weeks. Loveleen and her mother-in-law never stopped arguing and fighting. But what made the situation even worse was that, according to their tradition, Loveleen had to bow to her mother-in-law and obey her every wish. All the anger and unhappiness in the house was causing the poor husband great distress.
Finally, Loveleen could not stand her mother-in-law's bad temper and dictatorship any longer, and she decided to do something about it.
Loveleen went to see her father's good friend, Mr. Zosan, who sold herbs. She told him the situation and asked if he would give her some poison so that she could solve the problem once and for all. Mr. zosan thought for a while, and finally said, "Loveleen, I will help you solve your problem, but you must listen to me and obey what I tell you."
Loveleen said, "Yes, Mr. Zosan, I will do whatever you tell me to do." Mr. zosan went into the back room, and returned in a few minutes with a package of herbs.
He told Loveleen, "You can't use a quick-acting poison to get rid of your mother-in-law, because that would cause people to become suspicious. Therefore, I have given you a number of herbs that will slowly build up poison in her body. Every other day prepare some delicious meal and put a little of these herbs in her serving. Now, in order to make sure that nobody suspects you when she dies, you must be very careful to act very friendly towards her. Don't argue with her, obey her every wish, and treat her like a queen."
Loveleen was so happy. She thanked Mr. Zosan and hurried home to start her plot of murdering her mother-in-law.
Weeks went by, months went by, and every other day, Loveleen served the specially treated food to her mother-in-law. She remembered what Mr. Zosan had said about avoiding suspicion, so she controlled her temper, obeyed her mother-in-law, and treated her like her own mother. After six months had passed, the whole household had changed.
Loveleen had practiced controlling her temper so much that she found that she almost never got mad or upset. She hadn't had an argument in six months with her mother-in-law, who now seemed much kinder and easier to get along with.
The mother-in-law's attitude toward Loveleen changed, and she began to love Loveleen like her own daughter. She kept telling friends and relatives that Loveleen was the best daughter-in-law one could ever find. Loveleen and her mother-in-law were now treating each other like a real mother and daughter.
Loveleen's husband was very happy to see what was happening.
One day, Loveleen came to see Mr. Zosan and asked for his help again. She said, "Mr. Zosan, please help me to stop the poison from killing my mother-in-law! She's changed into such a nice woman, and I love her like my own mother. I do not want her to die because of the poison I gave her."
Mr. Zosan smiled and nodded his head. "Loveleen, there's nothing to worry about. I never gave you any poison. The herbs I gave you were vitamins to improve her health. The only poison was in your mind and your attitude toward her, but that has been all washed away by the love which you gave to her."
Moral : Make a conscious choice to see the good qualities of the person in relationships , act it out, if necessary and gradually and surely let time heal relationships…
Let's start making amends.
To parents
To siblings
To friends
And many more.
No one has a promised tomorrow. Have a wonderful Life with no regrets!
Please do not forget to share with you loved ones
If you liked this story… please share with friends and family and children… You might spark a thought, inspire and possibly

#Dynamic#

Sometimes one creates a dynamic impression by saying something, and sometimes one creates as significant an impression by remaining silent." 🙏GM

Saturday 8 August 2015

#SILENCE

Remember one thing: you have to be careful about what you take in, and you have to be careful about what you bring out.

Only then can you have a life which is centered.

People are careless: they go on stuffing themselves with whatsoever they find. Anything! They go on stuffing -- in the body, and in the mind too. Be careful.

If your neighbor comes and starts gossiping, you listen very attentively. If the neighbor throws some rubbish in your garden, you will start fighting, but if he throws some rubbish in your head, you are perfectly welcoming of it.

You don't see it: once somebody has been allowed to put rubbish in your head, what will you do with it? Sooner or later it will come through your mouth and enter into somebody else's head.

Don't go on taking anything in, and don't go on throwing anything out on people.

If you are too full of rubbish, go to the riverbank, go to the forest, and just talk to the trees. Nothing will be harmful, because they don't listen. You can talk, you can unburden yourself, you can unwind and come back.

But don't do that to human beings -- they are already too burdened.

Right speech means very sincere speech.

Have you watched it? If you fast for one day, the next day your hunger has a different passion to it.

And the same happens with words. Keep silent, and then say something, and you will see: that something has power in it.

Silence is like a fast: it brings life to your words. And in this world only those people who have kept themselves in deep silence, have been of tremendous import, and their words have been of lasting eternal value.

Buddha was silent for many months, Mahavir was silent for twelve years. Whenever Jesus would feel that he was tired, he would go to the forest and he would say to his disciples, "Leave me. Leave me alone." He would be in silence for forty days, and then he would come back. And then his words would have a value to them: each word would be like a diamond.

If you really want that your words should have value, then learn silence. Keep more and more silent; then one day you will know what right speech is.

#Magic bank account

The Magic Bank  Account

Imagine that you  had won the following *PRIZE* in a contest: Each morning your bank would  deposit $86,400 in your private account for your use.  However, this  prize has the following rules:

1. Everything  that you didn't spend during each day would be taken away from  you.

2. You may not  simply transfer money into some other account.

3. You may only  spend it.

4. Each morning  upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another $86,400 for that  day.

5. The bank can  end the game without warning; at any time it can say, "Game Over!". It can  close the account and you will not receive a new one.

What would  you personally do?

You would buy  anything and everything you wanted right? Not only for yourself, but for all  the people you love and care for. Even for people you don't know, because you  couldn't possibly spend it all on yourself, right?

You would try to  spend every penny, and use it all, because you knew it would be replenished in  the morning, right?

ACTUALLY, This  GAME is REAL ...

Shocked ???  YES!

Each of us is  already a winner of this *PRIZE*. We just can't seem to see it.

The PRIZE is  *TIME*

1. Each morning  we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds

as a gift of  life.

2. And when we go  to sleep at night, any remaining time is not credited to us.

3. What we  haven't used up that day is forever lost.

4. Yesterday is  forever gone.

5. Each morning  the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account at any time  WITHOUT WARNING...

SO, what will YOU  do with your 86,400 seconds?

Those seconds are  worth so much more than the same amount in $.  Think about it and  remember to enjoy every second of your life, because time races by so much  quicker than you think.

So take care of  yourself, be happy, love deeply and enjoy life!

Here's wishing  you a wonderful and beautiful day. Start "spending"....😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
