#Easy success from waste full words

*To be free from waste words is to ensure easy success*

Thought to ponder:

The one who wastes time and energy in gossip or slander has no time for success. All attention is focused on picking out the mistakes and the negativity of others and so there is no attention on learning new things or picking out the positive. So there is negativity visible in one's own attitude, words and actions.

Point to practice:

When I am able to free myself from waste and negative words, I am able to use the resource of my words in a positive and useful way. My words will be for the benefit of all. I would also notice that my words would be filled with the power of positivity and faith, faith in the self and faith in others.

One Ekadasi day,
Tuka was performing kirtans and Shivaji was listening to it with love.

In the meantime Muslim soldiers heard about the whereabouts of Shivaji and a big troop of 2000 soldiers came to arrest him.

They surrounded the house in which bhajans were performed and dint let anyone go in or come out of the house.

Shivajis informers came and whispered about the situation to him.

Hearing this Shivaji was worried and one of his bodyguards asked Tukaram if they could leave now.
Tukaram then told him that no one should leave till the kirtan is over.
Hearing this Shivaji sat down and continued to listen to the abhangs.
He thought to himself that none other than Vitthal can save him now and if he doesn't, he would be fortunate to die on an ekadasi day listening to abhangs and in the company of sadhus and saints.

One of the Muslim spies came into the house to check if Shivaji was there and couldn't find him.

He went back to his commander and told him that he couldn't recognize which one of them was Shivaji.

On hearing this, the commander told him to get in and kill as many people as possible and that way they would definitely kill Shivaji.
Vitthal immediately took the form of Shivaji and came out of the house on a horse.

He then started riding his horse.
The soldiers who saw this started chasing him but no one was able to catch him.

The army was chasing him for several hours and finally they had travelled to a jungle about 40 miles trying to catch Vitthal who looked like Shivaji.

Vitthal suddenly disappeared and the soldiers blamed one another for not being able to catch Shivaji.

The commander just could not understand how an army of 2000 soldiers could not catch one person.

Vitthal then came and whispered to Tuka on what had happened and asked him to continue his abhangs without any fear.

Reflection on the story:

Often people on spiritual path have this doubt, If i am engage in spiritual activities will God solve my problems in life?

Again and again in life's of devotees Krishna show that he is present and when is needed he will take proper steps to protect his devotees.

Sometimes we may have doubt in his actions but when we surrender to Him and his arrangements we can see that he will help as in best possible way.

He will help as to find solution which we could not even remember.

#Two horses story

Two Horses story -

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it.

From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse.

But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing....

Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him.

This alone is amazing. If you stand nearby and listen, you will hear the sound of a bell.
Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field.

Attached to the horse's halter is a small bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other horse is, so he can follow.

As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see that the horse with the bell is always checking on the blind horse, and that the blind horse will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse is, trusting that he will not be led astray.

When the horse with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, it stops occasionally and looks back, making sure that the blind friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges.

He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need..

Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives.
Other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way....

Good friends are like that... You may not always see them, but you know they are always there..

Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours, and remember...

Be kinder than necessary - everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply,
Love generously,
Care deeply,
Speak kindly.......

FOR WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT. 🙏🏽

Mistakes/ opportunities

Five men got lost in a vast forest. They tried to find their way out.

The first man said, "I will follow my intuition and go left."

The second man said, "I will go right. I have a strong feeling about this."

The third man said, "I think I will walk back the same path we came. This should be the safest option."

The fourth man said: "I think we are on the right track already, so I will keep going straight. I am sure this forest will end and I will find a village or a farm to ask for directions."

The fifth man said, "I don't know what to do. I think I will climb up this tall tree and take a better look around before I make up my mind."

So the fifth man did that. While he was climbing, the other four men scattered towards their own directions. The fifth man now could see from above what was the shortest way to a village. He thought that the others should not have chosen the paths they did. He was wrong, though.

Each man chose his own path and gained a different experience.
The man who went left, found a long path but in the end, it led him to the town.

The man who went right, had to fight a pack of wolves, but this way he learned how to survive in the forest.

The man who went back, met another team of hikers and he made new friends.

The man who went straight, found indeed a farm and was hosted by the family for a couple of days before leaving for the village.

Everyone was Enriched in their Own Unique Way by the Journey.
~
Some reflections on this story...

What if, there are no "right" or "wrong" decisions?
Could it be that every choice offers us new experiences, which in turn offers us innumerable further opportunities for growth?
It has taken every choice of our life to bring us to where we are right now.

In the fullness of the present, are we really in the wrong place?
Even if it feels so, can we be sure?

What if there are no mistakes? Only Opportunities?...

#The pearl necklace

*THE PEARL NECKLACE!!!*

There was this pretty 8 year-old girl who was checking out at a store with her mother and saw a plastic pearl necklace. She wanted that necklace very badly and when she asked her mother if she would buy it for her, her mother said, "Well, it is a pretty necklace, but it costs an awful lot of money. I'll buy you the necklace provided when we get home you can clean up your room & your bed. Okay?"

She agreed and her mother bought the pearl necklace for her & when they went home the little girl kept her promise.

How she loved those pearls! She wore them everywhere - to school, bed, and even when she went out with her mother to run errands.

The only time she didn't wear them was in the shower - her mother had told her that they would turn her neck green.

She had a very loving daddy. When she went to bed, he would get up from his favorite chair every night and read her a nice story. *One night when he finished the story, he asked her, "Do you love me?"*

"Oh yes daddy! You know I love you," the little girl said.

"Well, then, give me your pearls!" Daddy said.

"Oh daddy! Please, not my pearls!" she said*. "But you can have this Barbie, my favorite doll. Remember her? You gave her to me last year for my birthday. And you can have her tea party set too. Okay?"

"Oh no, darling, that's okay." Her father brushed her cheek with a kiss. "Good night."

A week later, her father once again asked her after the story, "Do you love me?"

"Oh yes, daddy! You know I love you."

"Well, then give me your pearls."

"Oh, daddy, not my pearls! But you can have these colored Ribbons & another Barbie doll. Do you remember her? She's my favorite. Her hair is so soft, and you can play with it and braid it also. You can have both, daddy."

"No, that's okay," her father said and brushed her cheek again with a kiss. "God bless you. Sweet dreams."

Several days later, when her father came in to read her a story, she was sitting on her bed and her lips were trembling. "Here, daddy," she said, and held out her tiny hand. She opened it and her beloved pearl necklace was inside. She let it slip into her father's hand. "You can have the necklace Daddy." She said with tears in her eyes.

With one hand her father held the plastic pearls and with the other he pulled out of his pocket a blue velvet box. Inside the box were real, genuine, beautiful pearls & he gave them to her!!! The little girl was completely stunned at that beautiful pearl necklace & was overjoyed!

He had them all along. He was only waiting for her to give up the cheap stuff so he could give her the real thing!!!

*PS: So it is with our Heavenly Father. He is waiting for us to give up all the cheap things in our lives so that he can give us his beautiful treasure that he has all the time for us. But we've to give up our desires first.*

*Why are we holding onto things which God wants us to let go of? Are we holding onto harmful or unnecessary possessions which we have become so attached to that it seems impossible to let go?*

Sometimes it is so hard to see what God has in the other hand, but we must believe that God will never take away anything without giving us in return something precious in its place.*

*"I will give you what you want so that one day you will want what I really want to give you… *

#Elephant and dog

Once upon a time, an Elephant and a Dog fell pregnant at same time.

3 months down the line the dog gave birth to 6 puppies,
6 months later the dog was pregnant again,
and 9 months later it gave birth to another dozen puppies.

The pattern continued.
On the 18 month the dog braggingly approach the elephant in mockery;

Dog: Are sure that you are pregnant?

We fell pregnant on the same date, I have given birth thrice to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant.

Whats going on?

Or you only wanted to be treated in kindness under the pretence of being pregnant?

Elephant: Hahahahaha! There is something I want you to understand.

What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in 2 years.

When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. It is not common to find an elephant by the side of the road knocked down by a car or as pets in any kind off a persons house.

So what I'm carrying is mighty and great.

Don't be envious of others testimony or be sad because yours hasn't come or it's taking too long.

Understand that the greater blessing is not the same as an instant blessing.

If you haven't received your own blessings, don't despair, complain or murmur!

Say to yourself " My Time is Coming"
My blessings are being processed, prepared, packaged and wrapped up in God's glory.

When it hits the surface of the earth, people shall yield in admiration.

#Givers

*To be a giver means to give according to need*

Projection: The one who is a giver would be sensitive to the needs of others and will be able to give what the other person needs at the right time, instead of giving what he wants to give. Also such a person is able to give without expecting anything in return.

Solution: When there is even a little thought to share with others whatever I have, I would naturally be able to perceive my own inner treasures and experience being full. Sharing with others, whatever I can, enables me to get their good wishes also. I thus find myself experiencing the richness of life.

#Accept yourself

Whenever you are disturbed, don't ask yourself What is disturbing me, Instead ask yourself

What am I not accepting, which is disturbing me...

How many times have you waited for someone to reply to the message you wrote, but never received it?

How many times have you dressed up for someone, waiting to hear from them that you're beautiful?

How many times have you waited for someone's call, so that they make you feel happy?

How many times have you waited for someone to appreciate the work you're doing, so it's easier for you to continue doing it?

With the reply that never came, the compliment you didn't hear, the phone call that wasn't intended, and the appreciation that was held back – you and I, we lost our self-worth.

Since kindergarten, we began to associate our self-worth with the golden stars our teachers gave us.

By middle school, this turned into how popular people thought we were and by college, we were living on the compliments we received, and the number of people who praised us.

And till today, we think that our worth is determined by the way others perceive us.

Thus, we want our boss to be happy with our work, we want our partners to constantly praise us, we want to be noticed, and we want to be appreciated.

Slowly, and gradually, this will harm us. Seeking approval and validation from others will change into a permanent, life-long struggle if we don't start believing in ourselves.

Stand in front of the mirror and look at yourself – carefully. Speak to your reflection.

Tell your reflection you are beautiful, you are strong. Tell your reflection that you appreciate yourself, that you love yourself, that you want to make yourself happy. Tell your reflection that you'll be there for yourself.

Because, sooner or later, you will realize that there is no one who will always be there for you, there is no one who can constantly praise you, appreciate you, and keep you happy. That is your job. And that job begins by believing that you can.

INSPIRED PUSH.
🐊
A man had one very beautiful daughter.

When the daughter was ready for marriage, the father sent news around town that all the eligible young men should come to compete in a test which would determine who was fit to marry his daughter.
🐊
On that day, all was set, all the able-bodied young men came out. Some came with paper and biro and others with cutlasses and swords.
🐊
The rich man took them to his
swimming pool and addressed the men: "Any of you who can swim from one end of this swimming pool to the other would marry my daughter.
🐊
In addition, I'll give him 15million dollars, a car and a house so they can start life well. I shall be waiting to meet my son-in-law at the other end. Good luck!"
🐊
As the young men, all very excited at the prospect of winning, started taking off their shirts, a helicopter came over the pool and dropped
alligators🐊🐊 and crocodiles🐊🐊 into the pool. Immediately, all the men turned back and started wearing their shirts again.

Disappointed, some of them said, ''That's crazy, lets see who would marry that girl, No one will'.
🐊
All of a sudden, they heard a splash in the pool. Everybody watched in amazement as one gentleman waddled across, expertly avoiding the alligators🐊🐊 and crocodiles🐊🐊.
🐊
Finally, he made it to the other side. The rich man could not believe it. He asked the young man to name anything he wanted but the man was still panting uncontrollably.
🐊
Finally, he got back to his senses and made a request saying,

''SHOW ME THE PERSON WHO PUSHED ME INSIDE THIS POOL!''

Only Opportunities?

#Right n wrong

Five men got lost in a vast forest. They tried to find their way out.

The first man said, "I will follow my intuition and go left."

The second man said, "I will go right. I have a strong feeling about this."

The third man said, "I think I will walk back the same path we came. This should be the safest option."

The fourth man said: "I think we are on the right track already, so I will keep going straight. I am sure this forest will end and I will find a village or a farm to ask for directions."

The fifth man said, "I don't know what to do. I think I will climb up this tall tree and take a better look around before I make up my mind."

Punts papa n #karma

What is the difference between Punya, Paap and Karma.?

Punya is a debit card - pay first and enjoy later.
Paap is a credit card - enjoy first and pay later.!

KARMA is a restaurant, where there is no need to place order - We
are served, what we have cooked..!
