When do you feel good about yourself...?

If you're like most people, you feel good when you accomplish something—reach a milestone or a goal—do something kind for someone else. 

It can be as basic as washing your car or cleaning off your desk. 

It might be simple as letting someone else go first in line at the store, or helping someone who needs assistance. 

Such simple, daily acts can make you feel downright virtuous.

And that's the point.

If you want to feel good about yourself, do something to trigger that feeling. 

Do something estimable. 

Get something done. 

Take action on your to-do list. Help someone. 

Give to someone. 
Take care of something that needs your attention. 
Make a list of acts that make you feel good about yourself.

Then, whenever your attitude is a bit negative, or your mood is gloomy, or your self-esteem is in the basement—get out your list of estimable acts and do something on that list.

People who do good things feel good about themselves...
