#Taking #life as it comes

Sitting in the first seat of the bus, going for an outbound training.

As I was observing the driver carefully, I noticed how flawlessly he is driving in a busy traffic road.

My attention stuck to the gears he is changing continuously based on the traffic. More traffic, he slows the speed, gear goes to 3, 2 or 1. Clear road, and he goes to 2, 3, 4 & 5.

It suddenly flashed to me, in life, we being the driver, keeps changing the gears too. Sometime when the road of life is clear, everything is flowing smoothly, we are racing at 4 or 5 gear and sometimes when too much traffic, means a lot of external pressure, work, problems, we shift the life gear to 2 or 1.

And like the traffic on the road which keeps changing from more to less, similarly life situations keeps changing too.

Critical is to understand that the *gears of life* are in our control like one in the bus is within drivers control.

Gears can't change automatically in the bus, similarly our life gears can't too. No matter what happens, we are always in control and to drive at which gear is our choice. We may shift to gear 1, 2 or 3 if more problems comes as we need to reflect, introspect and transcend them carefully, but we will soon come on a clear road as well, where we can race to high speed.

Life is such, everything is related to everything. So, don't hold back because of an assumption that there will be traffic on the road, which means an assumption that there will be *problems* ahead in life, you need to hit the road and use your driving skill to beautifully move through all the traffic you face.

And remember - *A smooth road never makes a skillful driver, and smooth life never makes a wise and mature person*
